SARAFINA

My art is an exploration of the Mystery. The profane. The territories and thresholds of being a body, of the ecosystem of my own soul, in the many pools of reflections of the world. It reaches into the cosmologies of ancestors, into the weft and warp of the earth. What is beneath the ground, and what blooms. What is ancient, and what present moment unveils the world, in sorrows, in ecstasy, in beauty. All my life I have been drawn to ritual, craft, poetry, sound, and visual art - working with different materials and mediums that open the doorways of many worlds into my secret providence with life.
